First I bequeth my soul to God that gave it in the name of Jesus Christ and my body to be buried in a decent and christian like manner as for what estate it has pleased almighty God to endow be with in the following manner Vitz Item: I give and bequeath to my eldest son Robert Carr plantation whereon he now lives and two hundred & twenty five acres adjoining thereto also one hundred & twenty five acres of land lying in Southampton County on Puny Ridge to him and his heirs forever Item: I give and bequeath to my youngest son John Carr the plantation whereon I now live and one hundred & fifty acres of land belonging thereto also two hundred twenty five acres of land lying in Isle of Wight County joining that land of my son Robert Carr on the west side of the Cabbin branches from Roberts plantation also twenty five acres of land lying on Puney Ridge to him and his heirs forever.
